Teeth whitening products seem to be all the rage nowadays. They seem to be constantly advertised on the television, radio and Internet. With all the constant pressure from society to always look our best, first impressions have become a staple in the western culture. As the saying goes, “you only get one chance to make a first impression.” Well, that statement does have some merit because we are all judged each and every day, and how others perceive us can mean many open or closed doors (opportunities) in your life.
Take for instance, you get dressed and head for an interview that you have been anxious to do all week. When the employer sits you down and begins the interview process, the first thing he/she is likely to notice are your teeth. Let’s face it, no one likes to be around a person with stained teeth; and believe it or not the fact that you have discolored or stained teeth could hinder your chances of being employed. But is this all hype or do these teeth whitening products actually work?
Well, to make a long story short, they do work in reducing the discoloration of your teeth. Again, you have to bear in mind that these are in fact whitening products that can be purchased at pharmacies or online, and not professional teeth whitening products used by dentists. So with that being said, these teeth whitening kits are indeed effective, but only at whitening your teeth by a few shades.
