Titanic - It was some time ago thought that the unsinkable vessel, the R.M.S Titanic, met its disastrous ending due to a huge slit in its hull bring on, no hesitation, by an iceberg that wasn’t noticed till it was too late. Nevertheless, it was ultimately found that the wide open gash in the vessel was, in fact, a sequence of lesser ones found all over the hull, and that is what preserved the Titanic’s fate. Ever since then, the International Ice Patrol (IIP) has been established to watch the iceberg movement in the North polar ocean and to guarantee that a calamity of this magnitude never happens again.
